About us

A baseball gym built around what the numbers say

215 Cortland Street in Lindenhurst. Indoor cages, turf throwing lanes and a training floor, open to Long Island high school and college players.

Athlete training in the indoor cage at Complete Baseball Performance

Why we exist

Most players on Long Island are working hard on a plan nobody measured.

They copy a throwing program off the internet, lift whatever the team lifts, and hope the velocity shows up. When it does not, they add volume. When the elbow starts talking, they add forearm work. Nothing in that loop is based on data about their body.

Complete Baseball Performance was built to break that loop. We put a number on the work first, coach the movement second, and retest so an athlete can see what changed. That is the whole idea behind “don’t reinvent the wheel, learn to drive.” The training principles are not a secret. Applying them to your body, in the right dose, is the job.

What we believe

Four rules we coach by

Train at the intent you compete at

Games are played fast and hard. If training never asks for that, the body is never prepared for it. We work at high intent and manage the load around it.

Build the brakes before the gas

The body can only accelerate as much as it can brake. Deceleration and trunk control come first, so the power we add has somewhere safe to go.

The arm is not the problem

Throwing is a total-body action that starts at the midline. Chasing elbow pain with forearm work is a band-aid. We go after what actually creates the throw.

One athlete, one plan

Two players at the same distance can be at completely different efforts. Programs are set from your numbers, not generalized across a roster.
